Unless community colleges are terribly expensive in Arizona, the PELL will pay 50% of the cost of tuition, fees, books, and living expenses. The living expenses are defined by the college and the US Department of Education and bear no relationship to to reality. Everything combined, the grant should pay for your tuition, fees, books, with some left over. You also qualify for Federal Student Work Study, and may qualify for other financial assistance. Have a serious conversation with the financial aid office. If you have children, there may be money for child care. Almost all financial aid begins with your score which is 0. Look through your college's catalog and see if it lists need based scholarships. If you work, does your employer reimburse you tuition, fees, etc.
