Answer 1 :
no
Answer 2 :
No, why would you have to know someone? You get in based on what you know, not who you know.
Answer 3 :
No. You can go to college anywhere in the US.
Answer 4 :
I have several friends that attended ASU, in Tempe, it's a wonderful school, wonderful campus with so much to do, I lived in Arizona, it's worth taking a trip to check it out. I am sure you will fall in love with AZ.
Answer 5 :
No
Answer 6 :
No, you don't have to know someone. Colleges look at out of state applications for what you can bring to their school, not for who you know.
Answer 7 :
Are you kidding? Asking such a question makes me believe that you may not be the sharpest pencil in the box.
Answer 8 :
No. You just have to apply to the school. There are catalogs available in many book stores listing the various degree programs at schools across the country to help you pick the right one for you. You can also look on the school's web site.
Answer 9 :
No, knowing someone in any state is not a prerequisite to attending a university in that state. You will pay out-of-state tuition, but they will not deny you for being out of state. In fact, they don't ask you if you know someone there.
Answer 10 :
No. However, if you get a referral from a relative who attended the school, you are labeled a legacy candidate and sometimes you have a better chance of acceptance. Most people are not legacy applicants.
Answer 11 :
no, but as far as the cost of in state v. out of state students it sure does help to know someone that can help you establish residency before you get there.good luck!!
Answer 12 :
No, you don't have to know someone in the state you want to attend school. What your friend was probably doing was using an address to pay in-state tuition.
Answer 13 :
No, you can attend any school you want. Some school do not accept very many out of state students though. Also expect to pay higher tuition.
Answer 14 :
No, definitely not- but for networking purposes, or to live with someone, knowing someone in Arizona helps. But going to any college is up to you, not having to do with anything else- don't let anyone hold you back.

truthfully, i guess walking would be. lol. you didnt say your starting point.
Answer 2 :
The cheapest way to travel to AZ would be to drive. Gas prices might be high, but airfare is much more costly. Your method of transportation might be dependant on how much stuff she has to bring with her and if she's allowed to have a car on campus. If you prefer airplanes and you have a few weeks, surf the web to get the best deals. The cheapest days to fly are in the middle of the week. Check out these websites for airfare or check out the last website for the cheapest gas along the way.

Which commune college in Arizona would be better for my brother
Which commune college in Arizona would be better for my brother?
My brother is starting out at a community college, till he's been there a year, once he's a residence in Arizona, he wants to transfer to a bigger University. He's going to study Music Business/Audio Engineering. Which college is good. Scottsdale College Mesa College Glendale one is way too far, since he's going to live on the east side.

I've heard from friends who went for degrees in similar fields that Scottsdale is the best choice. Too bad Glendale will be too far. They have an awesome music program there!!
