Do you have to know someone in Arizona to attend college in Arizona?
If for example I wanted to attend a college in another state do I have to know someone in Arizona? I had a friend and her daughter has family in Ohio and she attends Ohio University. My friend was a job coach of mine back then in College.

I have several friends that attended ASU, in Tempe, it's a wonderful school, wonderful campus with so much to do, I lived in Arizona, it's worth taking a trip to check it out. I am sure you will fall in love with AZ.

No, you don't have to know someone. Colleges look at out of state applications for what you can bring to their school, not for who you know.

No. You just have to apply to the school. There are catalogs available in many book stores listing the various degree programs at schools across the country to help you pick the right one for you. You can also look on the school's web site.

No, knowing someone in any state is not a prerequisite to attending a university in that state. You will pay out-of-state tuition, but they will not deny you for being out of state. In fact, they don't ask you if you know someone there.
